I want to introduce you to my store front. It is Frogfish Friend on cafepress. Keep your eyes open for my ETSY page coming soon. In addition to everything you find on these sites, I will be working on making a page dedicated to selling frags and coral colonies. These are live animals and they require a little more time and care to set up and ship. Shipping is typically done overnight with a lot of padding and protection as well as heating/cooling packs depending on the weather.

For now, though, I wanted to show you my favorite product on the cafepress store. Most of the items will be paired with the lovely picture on the top of this page. I love the detail and colors in this and it looks amazing hanging on the wall or on a lot of different products. It is one of my favorite reef tank pictures that I have taken and I want it to represent my image and products. Thanks Creme! Stay tuned for more beautiful reef tank imagery to be added to the store page. There will be an educational picture book coming soon, so keep your eyes out!

Here at Frogfish Friends we understand not everyone has the ability to care for a reef tank aquarium. But we still want you to be able to enjoy the underwater life. We are going to use the money from selling these dry products to donate and spread information about ocean life. Plus, for every $1000 purchased we will donate a frag to a museum, aquarium, or zoo.

Product showcase: Clownfish in Zoanthid 8x10 Canvas Print

This is hands down my favorite item from the store page. If I can not have a reef tank in a certain space I would still love to show my enthusiasm for coral and fish. This 8x10 Canvas print can be hung or placed anywhere to add a SPLASH of color to your setting. It is great on walls and doors and it also looks great sitting on a desk. The Clownfish in Zoanthid picture is very bright and colorful and stands out from the normal setting.

The dimensions fit the picture frame and wrap around the edges very nicely. I think it is a very fun way to decorate and add a little extra color and "pop" to any place. The greens and blues really stand out.

Feature: Bright colors of a Mocha Storm Clown fish nested inside of it's host colony of Radio Active Dragon Eye Zoanthids. Beautiful glossy finish on canvas wrapped around the sides. Different color frames and sides are optional to help it blend into different settings. This 8x10 Canvas print also comes with its own hanging kit for fast and easy use.

Benefit:

Each purchase contributes to Home Aqua Cultured coral which relieves stress on the environment due to dangerous harvesting practices in the ocean. The more coral that is grown at home the better. This keeps the coral population healthy and growing in the trade hobby. Eventually these reserves may be used to seed coral back into the ocean. Tank raised coral may be stronger and healthier than ocean harvested.

Hanging this 8x10 Print shows that you care about the ocean and it's inhabitants. It also gets the thought bubble planted in other people's mind.

Our big idea!

Sales and income from products sold on CafePress will help speed up development of "Colonies". Colonies is our office tank startup.

Our Big Promise:

For every $1000 purchased from the store, 1 coral frag will be donated to a museum, zoo, or aquarium. For every $10,000 purchased from the store, 1 "Colonies" tank will be donated to a museum or aquarium.

Proof: So far, FrogFish Friends has donated to a few local aquariums. This includes the Bloomington Zoo, Shedd Aquarium, and the Sacramento Zoo. Some of the donations include: Zoanthids, Montipora, Mushroom coral, Acan lords, and a long tentacle anemone.

Testimonials:

"I have always wanted a salt water fish tank but I never had the time or resources to do so. Thanks to frogfish friends I have a beautiful 8x10 print between my freshwater Betta fish tanks."

-Maggie, Betta Fish breeder

Buying from us makes a difference.

We are building to become a coral whole sale supplier. The goal is to set up large grow out frag tanks to begin larger scale propagation and conservation. As the business grows I will be able to collect more endangered species. The plan is to grow and distribute as much coral as I can in order to prevent wild harvested coral. In addition, as coral become more scarce in the wild we may be able to seed some of the more hardy aquacultured specimens back into the ocean to rebuild the reefs.

Along with coral, I will be breeding designer clownfish. Currently I have two mated pairs. One pair is a black/mocha storm ocellarius clownfish. The other pair is a gold nugget and a lightning maroon clownfish. Their offspring will have unique patterns and color morphs. Captive bred clownfish have a lot of benefits over wild caught clownfish.

The captive clownfish will be easier to feed pellet and frozen foods. They tend to be healthier and more resilient to illness and disease. They also tend to live longer and be more accustom to smaller home aquariums (Please keep in at least 29 Gallons).

Finally, the last product I wanted to mention is called "Colonies". I have been working on making self sustaining pico tanks for office settings. No more days of betta fish in bowls. Soon everyone with a desk will be raving over the neon zoa tank. It will be a complete set up containing the zoas, the tank, filtration, heater, lighting, and come with care instructions. The main thing to remember is to top off with fresh water as the saltwater evaporates.

Thank you and happy reefing,

-FFF
